Is it fixable ????????

I have a Samsung Blackjack 2. I needed to charge my phone but I was in the car so I used my usb cord I had and a converter that turns the cigarette lighter in the car into a USB port. I plugged the phone in and the screen went completely white. I tried pulling the battery out of the phone for 30 sec and turned the phone back on. The screen went white and I heard the start up chime the phone usually makes. I called my number from my dad's phone and it didn't go through. Any ideas on how to fix it?
