Do I have a case for slander and harment I'm the workplace ?

Ok so I work as a front desk employee for best western and one of the girls I work with told me what my manager was saying behind my back Iam a guy and I do take care of my appearance plus I have to look presentable for the public as I deal with alot of people daily anyways my manager had randomly asked another employee if she thought I was gay ( now everyone knows my girlfriend who I been with for 7 yrs) she also had stated that my girlfriend was a cover up for me and since than I have been called gay by the head chef in the restaurant and one of the maintenance guys I did confront her and I did record it all on my phone where she does say she was talking about me and my uality and about the cover-up statement and I also told her about the chef and maintenance guy and all she said well I need to stand up for myself what do I do ? I do want to work and I don't wanna be that person who sues but it's very uncomfortable at work I don't even wanna go anymore
