What are the mian different bloodlines of pitbulls?

People keep on asking what different breeds of pitbulls there are, and I think this is what they meant. Like, I heard somewhere about an "Alligator" line, and it's a strongly bred fighting line, I think. And stuff like that, can anyone tell me what all there is, or give me a site?
