Should I re-take my ASVAB or just wait?

I want to join the military pretty badly because the life seems so exciting. I want to re-take the ASVAB tuesday, because I made a 49 the first time. However, I have been looking into Marion Military Institute, and I have a feeling I could possibly get accepted. I made a 20 on the ACT, so I was hoping to try-out for a scholarship from them. What should I do?
