Other than giving away more of our money, did Obama achieve anything else real at Copenhagen?

For all the carbon footprint and millons of dollars or so the climate change conference cost, and all the mumbo jumbo legal language in the "agreement" to keep talking about doing something, did it result in anything real or is it just more "something is better than nothing" publicity and posturing? How ironic to have a real snowstorm to cap off the event?
